Confusing
I'm very lucky to be surrounded by very smart, very progressive friends.
However, some of my friends, more peripheral ones, either from college or just people that I've friended on Facebook have some right-leaning tendencies, or have become enamoured with Sarah Palin or have yet to embrace a larger worldview.
But then I see some of these people claim to be fans of bands like Weezer or artists like Jack Johnson. There is a disconnect here! You can't like Weezer if they would laugh at your politics.
