Spring! Therefore A Return to Blogging!
I have been reading The Artist's Way. I'm not going to make any claims of "it is life changing" or "run out and get it now". Honestly, I stopped reading it after the first chapter. Except that I've been doing my "Morning Pages" for over a week now - EFF ORT LESS LY - and I don't even know what else I need?!
I am going to begin stockpiling copies from half.com. I am going to send one to my mother with a notepad. I will tell her "Don't do anything with this if you don't want to. DOn't tell me whether you do or not. Do it for yourself. It has value. I am don't care if we share this experience or not, but if we do, that would be something so special."
Another huge tool (hahaha) has been Garrison Keillor's "The Writer's Almanac". I get the daily e-mail and I love it. So much inspiration and even a story idea!
