Goobers
Last year at this time, I was very sad. To make myself feel better, I added this tagline at the top of NAAS:
[Arlington County, VA] John F. Kerry (D) 63,705 68% George W. Bush (R) 29,545 31%
This year, I am a little bit happier, but again I want to add some statistics here.
Arlington, VA...KAINE(D) 42,305 74%...KILGORE(R) 13,628 24%...POTTS(I) 990 2%
An absolute drubbing. More proud, I could not be.

Comments:
I'm pretty proud of them myself... used to live in Southern VA, it's nice to hear they've come to their senses.
Well, I don't know about that. I know that Arlington is only one part of VA, but someone had to narrow that gap. I was looking at the VA State site to find a good example of a city or county that went for Kilgore, like Chesapeake or Virginia Beach, but I couldn't find one. But I imagine the closer you get to NC and west also, the better Kilgore did.
